SUBMISSIONS TO THE BLOG

The Bharat Ratna Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Legal Research Centre Blog accepts submissions on a rolling basis.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES FOR AUTHORS

  1. Submissions should be the original work of the contributor(s) and should not have been published or sent for publication elsewhere.
  2. Author(s) is/are advised to keep their blogs concise and precise to enhance the effectiveness of their posts. The word limit should range from 1200-1500 words (Including footnotes).
  3. Co-authorship is permitted up to 2 authors.
  4. Submissions shall be in English language only. The journal does not accept submissions in languages other than English.
  5. The maximum permissible plagiarism is 15%.
  6. All submissions are to be made in MS Word format document.
  7. The body of the mail shall contain details of the author’s Full name, Designation, semester & course (if a student), university/organization/freelancer (specify), contact number, and E-Mail ID.
  8. All submissions for the Blog must be sent to Submission@drambedkarlegalresearchcentre.com
  9. Submissions should not contain any offensive, abusive, derogatory, or potentially defamatory content. The author shall be liable for the blog article submitted and published if found to be offensive, abusive, derogatory, potentially defamatory, or plagiarized.

FORMAT

The Blog must be according to the following specifications:

    1. Font – Times New Roman
    2. Heading Font Size-14
    3. Body Font size – 12
    4. Line spacing – 1.5
    5. Alignment – Justified

The Footnotes of the Blog must be according to the following specifications:( In case they are not hyperlinked in the main text)

    1. Font – Times New Roman
    2. Font size – 10
    3. Line Spacing – Single

Citations may be included either by adding footnotes (The Bluebook: A Uniform System of Citation (20th or 21st ed.) or hyperlinking the reliable internet source in the main text itself. 

PUBLICATION GUIDELINES

  1. The authors cannot withdraw the Blog after the submission and during the review process.
  2. The Editorial Board will review the submissions, and the decision of the editorial board will be final.
  3. The Editorial Board can recommend suggestions or make necessary changes as per requirement.
  4. All rights regarding the Blog will be reserved with Bharat Ratna Dr. BR. Ambedkar Legal Research Centre.
